I learnt so much from attending – and will definitely recommend to my colleagues.
I arrived thinking I would just have a day out of the office – and left reeling from multiple new insights and new information.
The voice of survivors, particularly what helps and hinders them, was especially helpful and something not experienced elsewhere.
Thank you to the training team for their honesty and for their hope. We need now to deliver services that they need, and not what we think they need. We have to be honest about how we have silenced survivors, and now create pathways for them to be able to seek the help they need.
